Glad the season is here. Think it is dumb that it starts on a Wednesday night though.

Houston is on paper the most complete team in the league. I can see a 14-2 season from them. Conversely, the Browns were wise to draft Brandon Weeden as it will help ensure they get the number 1 pick next year, and thus Matt Barkley. I think they have an outside shot at 0-16, but I'll go with 2-14. The Seahawks are the NFCs biggest sleeper and the Titans are the same in the AFC. And as always the Boys will be a sideshow that takes up 90% of all NFL headlines/news, and they'll go 7-9 to justify that.

If I remember correctly, it was originally scheduled to be tomorrow night, but they didn't want to interfere with the President's speech at the DNC. I think the "Big 4" channels are required to broadcast it.
With that said, Black & Gold to the Super Bowl! That chip on their shoulder is going to be quite the motivator.

I really only got into NFL last year and followed the Saints as much as I could so I guess go Saints! Christmas this year should be interesting seeing how my bro-in-law is a Huge Cowboys fan.
I'm also interested to see how Houston makes out as well as Newton's second season.

I can't wait to see all the national media who jumped off their wagon jumping back on by the end of the month. I'm not talking about the ones who have a one or two win record drop, but some of the ones calling for a 7-9 or 8-8 (even saw one at 6-10) trainwreck. Come on..

Yeah i dont buy they will be that bad, but i have no doubt there will be ill effects from the loss of coaches.
Still should be an 11 or 12 win team i would think.
That's a fair prediction, I'd have them about the same. I'm sure there's no question there will be some sort of lag from it, even so much as missing his energetic presence on the sidelines. It's the predictions that a team who went 37-11 and a Super Bowl title the past 3 seasons with arguably the best QB in the game to completely falling off the map that I find laughable.
I don't know if the Saints will be a trainwreck, but I see them going 3-3 in division, and 10-6 with Atlanta sadly winning the division. They are a great regular season team after all. Wildcard might be tough though, with Philly, Detroit, Chicago and Seattle all potentially in that range as well.

We'll see, it's a very tough division now. Ya most I read are picking the Falcons to win the division. That's not shocking, they're a very good team. I just wonder how many of those realize how much the Saints have owned their arch rival dirty birds the past few years. 10-2 in the last 12, 1 of those losses being after Hartley schanked a 29 yard FG attempt in OT and the Falcons scored on the next possession.
Just reminds me of how the Leafs would always dominate the Sens back in the early 00's when they were both good, even in the years when the Sens were probably the better team. The Falcons need to prove they can actually beat their biggest rival before they can break out the NFC South Champions hats.
