Dave and I having a bit of a debate about how close this deal is to being fair

Minny gets
Brent Seabrook
Andrew Ladd

CBJ gets
David Backes
Keith Yandle

Who does it favor and how far is the gap?

That is pretty fair, kind of like it more for CBJ but its very fair.

I like it more for CBJ but I am not a huge fan of Ladd

edit: should add value wise i think its fair, just don't like Ladd

It looks pretty close to me as well...from an NHL standpoint.

From a CPHL POV...

Seabrook and Ladd are 75OV and 68OV and Backes and Yandle are both 71s.
Outside of DF and OF rankings it still looks pretty close.

I like the deal a lot for Minny cause I see Seabrook as a lot better than any other player in the deal.

close enough that only preference sways it I think.

Seabrook > Yandle
Backes > Ladd (i think this gap grows as well)
