The Blues have acquired veteran winger Martin St. Louis from the Leafs in an attempt to bolster their scoring up front.

Hopefully he adds some much needed help up front but if not he can always be moved closer to the deadline, or anytime for that matter.

(Hopefully) a big upgrade in the 2013 draft ... the 1st I'm sending to the Blues is a condition from Anaheim late in the round, could very well be #30. As of today, the Flyers pick could be top 10 - with all the talent that's coming through in this draft, we wanted the chance to grab a real good talent.

The deal also makes us a lot younger ... Kostitsyn is a promising piece that can step in and help us be somewhat competitive right now, and we believe that Horak is NHL-bound and hope that he'll continue his good scoring in the AHL for now.
