I said it in the last thread, and I'll say it here. I would rather have games simmed if they aren't played, than take the guaranteed loss by letting my CPU play. I know you have to run this the way you see fit, but there should be some further discussion before this is made mandatory. I try to make contact, but i don't want to be punished because I'm not on on the last day.

Disagree, the point of this league is to play and there have been far too many instances where people take advantage of the situation. The solution, as always, play your games.

Playing all games is just not always possible. I lead a pretty busy life and try to get on every day. Most the time it happens. Some times not. There is no set "point to this league" if there is, its to build a strong team as a gm. Believe me, of rather play every game, but its not always there. So is rather let a computer decided whether my team is stronger than the other guysl, then let the other guy destroy my team on an easy setting.

The biggest reason that I'm in favour of removing this setting is that we're somehow penalized for not being able to play on the last night.

For example, we have a 3 day schedule. If I try to schedule my game with someone in day one or two and they're not available, then it's the other way around on day three, then they get the benefit of playing my computer?

That part I disagree with. At the end of the day though, it's not like my record this season is going to get me into playoffs... REBUILDING YEAR!

I would hope that in a situation like that, two people would be able to agree to a sim.

do GM's actually want simming? seems to me injuries happen way more often if you sim
