[DISCLAIMER] Normally I would put them all in one thread but feel each trade is significant enough to warrant it's own. Feel free to shoot me if you disagree.
In the 3rd trade in two days with the Jackets, the Blues have landed the biggest fish of all the BJ's, minus their goalie - Duncan Keith.
To Clb:
Milan Lucic LW, 24y 70ov
Dan Hamhuis D, 29y 72ov
Waive 2nd owed to St.L
To St.L:
Duncan Keith D, 28y 77ov
Drew Miller RW, 28y 62ov
2014 1st (Wsh)
2014 3rd (Clb)
We take a slight downgrade overall on the trade but upgrade picks to make up for that. To add one of the top 3 Dmen in the league who is right at the beginning of a Defenseman's prime and still add some future advantage is a good deal in our books.
Tomorrow's game vs the mighty Canadiens will have to be played without him, but Keith is expected to be a mainstay in the Blues lineup for years to come.

He and Coburn could make a mighty top pair for a long time.
Thanks again to MJK, I think we're both happy with how the last 2 days unfolded.
