Default Class 5 Road Test

Hi I was wondering if anyone could suggest a good place to take the class 5 road test, Im just looking for something that has particularly lenient drivers, and I dont need any lectures please, Thanks

In all seriousness, you want a good place; not an easy one. My wife took her class 5 at the registry on 11th ave around 1st SW and had an Asian guy for an instructor. I belive his name was Mr. Chan or Chen.

Anyway- she failed her first time around, and he took the time to come talk to me and tell me what she needed to work on. Spent a good 5 minutes going over stuff with us. She went back a couple of weeks later and passed.

Spare you the lectures? Haha you do realize this is a test for you to share the road with the rest of us, don't you?

If you suck at driving, practice more. We don't need any more marginal drivers making poor decisions and causing accidents.

alright, greatly appreciate your response, the reviews are kinda iffy but Ill consider it

I am a pretty good driver i've just heard of many nasty instructors so I want to maximize the possibility of me passing

Shawnessy registries. I wouldn't say they're lenient, but I would say they're fair. Just be respectful to your examiner, don't expect them to feel sorry for you if you make a big error. Drive properly and you shouldn't have a problem.

Don't speed, stop for 3 seconds at stop signs or red lights if you're turning right. Remember your up hill and down hill wheel positions. Look for uncontrolled intersections. That's a big one. Usually in older residential areas. Those are all common errors.

Good luck.

When I got my Class 5 I struck up a conversation with my instructor about the Flames and he didn't pay as close attention as he would of if we were driving in silence. Drive confidently and follow the rules of the road, it's pretty easy. I ended up doing my motorcycle test a year ago, and after driving for 12 years I thought my bad habits might cost me, but it was fine and I passed on the first try.

This test is not for anything important, so i hope you find someone willing to overlook a few errors in judgement.......

I took my advanced test in June. I went to Southland regestrations on Horton Rd and had a friendly, obviously gay instructor. I think his name was Bill. He spends most the test chatting. I had him for both the GDL and advanced tests and he didn't give me a single deduction on either.

Dont' go with AMA in Willowpark. I failed my test twice there. The 3rd time, I went to a place along Elbow Drive close to Heritage. Passed the first time.

Go to High River. Best place to take your driver's test is in a small town where the traffic is minimal.

Rangeland Agencies 78 Ltd.
