I like getting assets that I can use beyond just one season. Hainsey, while I like him I wouldn't keep him on a grid contract. So I loose a couple OV points but get a solid 3rd/4th line C on a cheaper contract for 2 years beyond this year. Will likely anchor the 4th line C spot moving Hecht back over to the LW and will shift one of Engelland or Grossman back on D temporarily.

This helps me get rid of a bit of a bad contract for next year and beyond freeing up 5 mil next year to sign/re-sign some guys while not taking much of a hit OV (65 to 64)
