Mike Ribeiro was disappointed this past off season when the Chicago Blackhawks never offered to re-sign him as an UFA. Riberio ended up signing a huge free agent contract with the Dallas Stars.
Well now all is forgiven, as Riberio has been traded from Dallas back to the Blackhawks for,

John Michael Liles (D)
Marcel Goc (C)
Jamie McGinn (LW)

I wanted to add another top 6 forward.
Goc just wasn't fitting in with the Hawks. JML is an UFA after this season.
McGinn has big potenial and was hard to give up.
Plus, the 3 for 1 deal helped me deal with some roster number issues.
