Car Tires

I need to buy a new set of all-season tires for my 2004 Mazda 3 this year. This will be the first time I will have bought a set of tires before and really don't want to get gouged and would appreciate any advice from fellow CP'ers on where to go and what to buy.

Some questions I have are: Roughly how much am I looking at for 4 tires? Should I just buy the tires one place (i.e., Kijiji) and have them installed separately? What brand should I get? Any advice will help.

I just bought a set of good winter tires from fountain tires today and they are installing them Wednesday. Even though they were very busy they took the time to explain to me why the tires I was interested in we're not suited for my needs. He showed me 3 other kinds more suited for me. I am a sales rep so I was expecting his suggestions to be more money. I was wrong. He saved me about $200 and I feel I have a better set of tires. All in I spent about $1100 for 4 tires installed. I was very impressed with te level of service I recieced from fountain tire (sunridge) I will be buying my new summer tires there as well based on this experience.
