Default Lecavalier crosses the state

To Florida

Vincent Lecavalier
3rd rounder next year

To Tampa

Alex Tanguay
Nate Prosser
Mattias Tedenby
Denis Persson

I give up a bit of depth in order to make an upgrade. Probably overpaid slightly, but it's all good.

In the summer the Bolts added Vinny for a first round pick. To flip him for 4 decent players at his declining age was a deal we could not pass up.

thanks CG for the productive talks

Yeah, that's a good deal for the Bolts.

Yes, but my acquisition costs for the 3 prospects was a waiver claim, a free agent signing, and a 2nd round pick. So in essence my cost was Tanguay + 2nd for Lecavalier + 3rd, and I'll get 3 additional prospects through free agency once I do some research, which should help to replace part of what I dealt as well.

So it's a win-win.

I've added -

Rasmus Bodin - A 6'6" smooth skating center with a good shot, and while he is raw, he was drafted by Detroit, who does develop late round guys as good as anyone.

Alexander Delnov - A russian guy drafted in the 4th round last year that's come over to the WHL.

Daniel Zaar - Another late round Swede, who's decently talented in all areas but it slightly shorter than he needs to be (5-10). Long term project type guy.
