It's gotta be one of the sub-continent teams. The know the conditions and are just better T20 sides. Although South Africa has to break free sometime, that team is stacked.

I don't know why they excluded Sehwag?

He's probably going to play Sunday and own Pakistan.

I though 140 was a pretty decent total when you compare what happened in the earlier game.

But this is the group of death so anything can happen.

They wanted to go with 5 bowlers meaning dropping Sehwag and playing Irfan and having him open.

140 was a respectable total but Watso was on a mission today, Warner wasn't bad either.

The Australian dominance continues. Chased South Africa's total of 146 without a sweat. Watson with another superb performance.

India beat Pakistan by 8 wickets. Bowled Pakistan out for 128.

Due to India's win, South Africa still has a chance. The next group games are crucial for every team, except perhaps Australia.

Aus is basically thru BUT if Pakistan and India win BIG the Aussies can still be eliminated but unlikely.

Shane Watson is such a beast. Great all-rounder.

And Sri Lanka, they are basically through as well.

They only need 112 to qualify for the semis, it's 45-3 right now after 10.

Aussies have qualified, South Africa knocked out.

Pakistan or India will take 2nd place in the group.

Great match coming up in South Africa vs India.

In the other group, we have Sri Lanka and West Indies advancing to the Semis.

South Africa and India played a great match today (despite no one qualifying). India posted a total of 152 to defend, and had to beat South Africa by 32 runs in order to qualify. They won by one run in the end.

Semifinals are set:

Semifinal #1: Sri Lanka (hosts) vs Pakistan | Oct 4 | 9:30 am EDT, 7:30 am MDT | Colombo.
Semifinal #2: Australia vs West Indies | Oct 5 | 9:30 am EDT, 7:30 am MDT | Colombo.

Sri Lanka are off to the Final after beating Pakistan by 16 runs... they've been solid and consistent in the tournament so far.

Aus vs WI tomorrow - I think Aus will advance, but would like a WI upset.

WI just put up a score of 205 in their innings, including 55 in just the last three overs.

AUS to come, can they make it even a close match?
