If you're a fan of Jack Reacher, you already know Tom Cruise is no Jack Reacher.
Terrible casting.

Didn't think there would be CP interest on this, but I absolutely can't believe Tom Cruise is playing Reacher (nobody in the books ever calls him "Jack")
I get that movies and books are sometimes different, the movie is quite the departure.
In the books, Reacher is a huge hulking loner/wanderer with a analytically step by step mind. Sort of like Hobo with a shotgun meets Sherlock Holmes.

I agree. With Tom Cruise playing Jack, the only adjective I can think of is "scrappy", the antithesis of Reacher.

Yes, this is the story. Unfortunately the OP's post was not even a little bit clear on what the story was. He was accidentally bumped up to #4 on the credits, just because his original link got so many page views. Then redditors decided they wanted to bump him above Tom Cruise to #1 on the credits.
I think it's pretty funny. Goes from just posting a link to his IMDb page as an extra to top credit in the Jack Reacher movie. Hopefully this somehow springboards his career.
