Free Cowboy Hats

Anyone know of any other times that they are giving them away. It was insane on 8th ave at noon. Apparently 10,000 being given away in the next 2 weeks.

I was there, but they ran out. I was going to get one so I can draw on it, thus making some sort of artistic statement.

I was "lucky" enough to get my hands on a hat at lunch today...

They are really nothing special. I don't think I would actually wear it. They feel like they are made out of hard plastic.

Down at the building where my fiance's gallery is, they're having a show where artists can artistically decorate cowboy hats, and then they put them up for auction. And I think they give out free hats to said artists. If it's something you might want to participate in, go down to the building (Artcentral, at center and 7th), and pick up a brochure on it.
