Nashville plucks one remaining Star from Dallas

Nashville and Dallas completed a five player deal early Monday afternoon. The details break down as follows:

To Dallas

To Nashville

Martin Havlat
Sean O'Donnell
Adrian Aucoin
Josh Anderson

"We are pretty high on Khokhlachev and he was tough to trade" said GM Slava. "That said, we needed some help right now. We add some depth on the blue line and then some offence with Havlat upfront."

When pressed by reporters about whether he was done with the roster the GM didn't leave people guessing. "We still have a few bucks to spend and need to add some roster players. I would expect that more moves are made before the puck drops on opening night."

basically, the deal works like this for me

Michalek = Havlat

and then its

Khokhlachev = O'Donnell, Aucoin Josh Anderson, $3M

Havlat is the best player in the deal imo. IF he can stay anywhere close to healthy then this is a great deal for the preds. I really like Khokhlachev and am happy to take him on for a couple old guys + prospect.
