Korean artist Do Ho Suh placed real house on top of Jacobs Hall building on the campus of University of California in San Diego. “Fallen Star” house looks like it was picked up by some mysterious force and crashed into the seventh floor of Jacobs School of Engineering. Do Ho Suh came to America in 1991.

I leave for Shanghai next week. will be my second time there. I love how the Bund separates futuristic and the Old.

My favorite place to look for architectural home inspiration is the australian magazine Inside Out. A lot of the homes that they feature do a great job of feeling modern and fresh, and yet warm and inviting at the same time.
