Hey guys,
I need some help with the hockey pool I help run.
- Our pool consists of auctions where we bid on a yearly salary (salary cap of $66mil), highest offer gets the player
- then we assign a contract length of 1-4 years - when the player's contract expires he becomes a RFA. So in the next year draft he is bid on by everyone but the current owner has the right to match the winning offer.
- We currently have 10 owners but are expanding to 14.
- Each team consists of 4 LW, 4 RW, 4 C, 6 Def, and 2 Team Goalies; which totals 20 players per roster.
Now I've given some background - how would some of you pool experts handle the expansion? Just curious on number to protect and such.
