Default WEEK 9: STAMPEDERS at Riders

Two struggling teams facing one another. Both offense are struggling while both defense are unpredictable. Riders' fan wanted QB Darian Durant benched and replaced by the rookie. In Calgary, there are also some rumblings from the fans but not as bad as the Riders fans wishing they switch quarterback. We hear a few people saying Bo Levi Mitchell should start over Kevin Glenn but Coach Hufnagel the Stamps' problem is not the quarterbacking.

In the last 4 games, Calgary went 2-2 (win-lost-win-lost) very inconsistent and we are wondering which Stampeders will show up at the game. Untimely stupid penalties are killing the Stampeders. Against the Argos, Cornish got hit a couple of times without the ball and there was no penalty called, so Cornish take it up on himself and hit Marcus Ball... flag flies 15 yards. That killed the offense momentum. Nik Lewis caught the ball in a 5 yard line but they ended up going back to 20 because Lewis started yapping at Brandon Isaac while the flag happy official was right beside them. They could scored a TD on that series but they ended kicking the field goal because Glenn couldn't move the ball.

I am hoping Durant continues his struggle and throws the ball to the Stamps D a few times. Also, i am hoping on this game the Stamps' pattern stays meaning they will win the game.

In order to beat the Riders, defense must keep on pressuring Durant and try not to give him any open receivers. Durant is not good in handling pressures and tend to make mistakes all the time. We also need disciplines..no stupid penalties and try not act macho all the time retaliating.

GO STAMPS GO!!!

Heard that come game time the winds will be at 80 K. That was yesterday though and today is a different day and the weather is so unpredictable.

In the last 15 games between Calgary and Saskatchewan, nine of them have been decided in the last 3 minutes.

Glenn's weak arm had better not test any cross field throws in the 2nd quarter.

They didn't score on that drive but they ate a lot of time on the field against the wind.
