Three daycare workers in Delaware are accused of ordering toddlers to fight each other at the centre so they could watch.
Dover police said a cellphone video showed the female employees encouraging the three-year-old children to punch each other.
In the video, police said a child is heard crying and yells, "He's pinching me," before a daycare worker says, "No pinching. Only punching."
"Clearly one of the children is crying and does not want to continue on and he is pushed back into the fray by one of the adults," Capt. Tim Stump told CBS Philly of the footage taken in March.
Police did not release the video.
The employees from the Hands of Our Future Daycare have been arrested and the business licence of the daycare has been suspended.
Tiana Harris, 19, Estefania Myers, 21, and Lisa Parker, 47, are charged with assault, reckless endangerment, conspiracy and endangering the welfare of a child.

The most distrubing thing is the three adults charged here are all women. Mothers of the year they aren't.
For daycare staff, two of them seemed extremely young. Maybe it's ageism, but I don't think I could entrust my kids to a daycare that employed anyone that young for looking after children.
Of course if they had them take the psychopath test, maybe that would have weeded them out.

19 and 21 is extremely young to work at a daycare? This incident notwithstanding, isnt the regular babysitting age like 14 or 15?
Also....Toddler fight club is hilarious to me. I don't have kids though.

The daycare workers are demented, but the header for this story is too friggin funny not to read it.
I can see them just taking this as far as they could if they didn't get caught.
Dressing them in Muay Thai trunks and wrapping their tiny fists up.
Announcing the combatants. In this corner with a reach of 22" inches. "Simon the Holy Terror Johnson" vs "Trevor Iron Fist"
Online gambling site on who you could pick with their fight records.
Tyler Durden would be proud of this fine moment.

I don't think age plays a huge factor in being a good daycare worker. As long as their infant/toddler cpr training is up to date and they know some bitchin' songs I'd feel comfortable leaving my kid with them. Sometimes younger people are better because the little punks haven't worn their spirits down yet. Sure experience is valuable, but by your logic older people make for better caregivers and that certainly is not true in my experience.
Toddler fight club is insane. Perhaps the only thing more insane is recording it. They can now be charged or sued and there's essentially zero defence.
