Default Boat Trailer Bearings

Ever since I had a close call with a burnt out bearing almost causing a tire to fly off my trailer during a road trip, I've become pretty anal about bearing maintenance on my boat trailer.

I can do all the work myself, pretty straight forward but was wondering if anyone was aware of a tool you could purchase that helps you set the race into the hub? I've always just used the old race and a hammer to tap in the new race until it was flush with the hub then used a strong piece of metal to tap around the edges of the new race until it was in its seat wich can take some time.

Hoping someone has a tip/trick/tool suggestion that doesn't involve a press of sorts?

No problem! That store is amazing. Pretty much everything ends up on sale here and there so if you aren't in a rush keep an eye on it.

Ya I really need to check that place out. Never been. I suspect it would something of a "kid in a candy store" type of situation.

i like the store because you can usually buy those tools you only use once and a while for less cost than CT/HD/Sears.

but they also stock losts of stuff - where you look at it and think, oh I could really use this (insert picture of widget)
