Default Eyeball Tattoos

Quote:
The sentencing of a convicted criminal with an eyeball tattoo in an Alaskan court has drawn attention to an unusual form of facial decoration - one that is less than a decade old, but winning new converts all the time.
Jason Barnum, 39, who pleaded guilty to the attempted murder of a policeman, has ornate tattoos on his head and part of his face - teeth on his cheek, an eyeball in middle of his forehead. But even more dramatically, the white of his right eye has been tattooed jet black.

I can't even imagine wanting this to be done to your eyes. Seems like there's far too much risk involved.

I find it hard to believe he couldn't find normal work and had to follow a life of crime..

Totally gangster. Too bad his other tattoos looks so amateur - it takes away from what could have been pretty badass.

Its an ink injection into the sclera. The dude above looks crazy because its dark ink. Ive seen the occaisonal person over the years who has had brighter colors done and it looked suprisingly good. Its not for everyone but not the craziest thing around .

Finally, a tattoo they could give to convicted child molestors to scare kids so they run far far away.

Google image search on "eyeball tattoo" provides a wealth of images (this is a thing? Really??) of not-black ones. The most popular color seems to be blue, with a smattering of green. The color is generally bright, almost neon.

But I can't find any pics that of it that "don't suck".

Ah, a new terrible tattoo trend for young women to regret in 10 years.

The first person that got this done was either incredibly brave or incredibly dumb. The colour of my eyes is something I would never screw with. I value my vision more than anything

I googled eyeball tattoo, and have to wonder if there is a total of 2 employed people between the lot of them.

The article linked in the OP has some pictures of other people and talks to some people who've had it done.

Best looking one I could find in 15 seconds. Not the dude, but the overall eyeball coloring effect.

Makes him look like a young Gandalf or something.
