Hasn't been much interest in PGA threads in the past, but we'll see this year. Majors usually get their own thread, but this one can cover the regular weekly events:
Arnold Palmer Invitational this week at Bay Hill, and Tiger is tearing up the course. 6 under on the day after 16 and 9 under for the week- currently tied for the lead. Will he break his slump this weekend? Would bode well with Augusta only 2 weeks away- a course he has played well in the last 2 years even when he wasn't on top of his game. His swing has been looking excellent the last couple months, but putting has let him down.
Shell Houston next week where Phil will defend his title before heading over to Augusta

Tiger looking really good today and not letting his foot off the peddle. McDowell has had some short putts that I think he would like back. It seems the field is falling back today. With Tiger playing the way he is right now, the Masters in a few weeks is going to be very interesting.
It appears Tiger is getting everything figured out from putting to his driving. The only thing it seems he has to work on some more is his short game.
I hope this Tiger comeback sets up a great year, and then an incredible Ryder Cup to cap it all off.

It's certainly going to increase the intrigue for the Masters.

He looked very impressive today, on a really tough day at Bay Hill. Awesome to see him back where he belongs, in the winner's circle. 2012's been a great year on the tour already and should only get better from here.

Tigers win today is only going to increase the hype for the Masters. Best part of todays win was to see the putter working for Tiger - something that has been a downfall is his play since his return. In some ways he looks like the Tiger of old.
From a technical perspective, Tiger is set up very well for the Masters... He placed well the last 2 years when his game was far from being great and the only shot he was confident with was a draw. He has been perfecting his cut shot the last couple years (and ultimately used to win last week), which is a shot important on many approach shots at Augusta. While most amateur golfers strives to play a draw, most pros favor a nice cut as it is easier to control and typically lands softer. Either way, having both in your bag is the best case.
The big power fade he hit into the par 5 18 a few weeks ago at the honda was arguably the best shot of 2012 so far-
