The Lightning have struck back as Hedman has scored and it is now 3-2 Penguins. Bishop was pulled after letting the three goals in on ten shots.
After two periods, the Panthers, Habs, and Hurricanes all lead 2-0 in their respective games.

Claude Giroux helped from the ice with a serious looking injury. Seemed to catch a blade of a Cane player on his achilles area. Could be either a serious cut or a achilles injury. Either way, it doesn't look good for him.

Four point night for Crosby. I'm happy to see him get it going again after a really slow December. No doubt trying to recover from a serious virus while playing extremely competitive sports don't go hand in hand, and likely played a large part in his lack of productivity. He's my favourite player and its awesome when he tearing up the NHL.

Brodeur is net for the Blues and the teams alternate scoring goals with the Ducks always getting the go ahead goal, it is 3-2 Ducks now in the second period.

He got a whiff of the Oilers stank on Perron and lost his dinner.
Seriously though, looks like he had the flu and got sick. Nothing happened to him, he just kinda did it and kept on going in the game.. Apparently they gave him the rest of the night off after that. Heard conflicting reports.

Flipped to overtime of the Oilers game, in time to watch Hall pass the puck to Scrivens to cover. Only there was no pressure on Scrivens, and he had to play the puck, only he couldn't because Hall had started the slowest line change I have ever seen in my life. In overtime. Luckily a Colorado player came along and saved Scrivens.

I'll give Hall a pass on that, they were bagging him down the stretch in the third, then double shift in OT. At 5,000 feet in Denver.

He was wearing Kevlar socks and he's fine. Most likely going to play in Philly's next game.
