Default I need an adjustable step ladder.....I think...
I need to access a light fixture in the front foyer of my house to change it out.

However the access is kinda weird as it sits directly above the main stairway by my front door.

My front door is situated between the two floors with stairs heading to each level.

Floor to light height needs to be at least 12 feet I think.

Suggestions on where to beg/borrow/buy/steal such a device ?

It is fine for my needs. I used it to do some painting in a stairwell and it did the trick.

Well, if you have several, put one on the landing, put a plank between that and the top floor, put another ladder on the plank.

I had a similar situation so I went to canadian tire and picked up



wouldn't you know it, my mom purchased the exact same one for me for my birthday a few days later!

I have one similar to that, except the rungs are super thin.. I can hardly stand on it without shoes.
