So I'm going houseboating this weekend, and besides the normal necessities (costumes, potato gun, liquor) I was wondering if anyone had any other ideas of items that I should bring to make the weekend more enjoyable? Maybe someone out there wants to sell me some dynamite? Maybe rent a high powered water cannon? Blueprints for a catapult?
Ideas please!

Bring a slip 'n' slide so you can rocket down the tarmac and off the end of the boat into the lake. That sounds like fun. And oh ya, the limit for people on a house boat is 59, not 60!!
NOT 60 DAMMIT!!

We filled a suitcase with pirate/spiderman kids costumes from toys r us last night, and those should go well with my leopard print grape smugglers.
Fireworks.......how did I forget those? Good call.

Amateur. The correct way to drink while houseboating is to stay drunk the entire day. Periods of sobriety are not to be tolerated. :P

Exactly. My problem is finding ways to fill in the day that will keep me from lighting stuff on fire. Golfing can only fill in so much time before I start "getting ideas" that involve breaking (or bending) the law in some fashion.
There must be lots of stuff to do out there though? I can't believe I've never been houseboating before, this trip sounds like it's going to be legendary (18 dudes on a stag).

18 dudes on a stag. then there are only 5 things that you will need.
Drugs, booze, stirippers, gambling (I suggest poker), and guns. The five things that make Vegas great, are also the 5 things that make a successful bachelor party (usually if you hit 4 you can call it a pretty good success).

Well, out of your list I have 3 of the 5. If I go any further I might be looking for a lawyer when I get back.
Actually, I might be looking for one anyways judging from the guys that are going to be on this thing. I'll be surprised if we make it out of the harbour without either breaking something or someone.

A telltale sign of a sucessful bachelor party is a dead hooker in a hotel room with one distraught partygoer repeating "She's dead. I can't believe she's dead. What are we going to do? I don't want to go to jail."
Just kidding.
Usually no one says anything and dumps a rolled up carpet in a dumpster behind a gas station never speaking of it again.
(extreme parody sarcasm /off)

When we went houseboating we called up Molson and they sponsored our houseboat. They gave us a huge ass banner to hang on our boat and gave everyone on our houseboat free t shirts. But no free beer, which is what we were really after, so that kind of sucked.
If you get some girls on the boat a game of truth or dare can get pretty racy. Drinking games which require the removal of clothing work pretty good as well.

ahahahaha
what happens on the boat stays on the boat, my friend. Vegas rules.
But there were speedos, fat men in panties with sunburnt testes singing Karaoke, naked women, strippers, amateur strippers, girls who liked to pretend they were strippers and get naked to make out, belly flops from the top deck to the tie down cords, mass vomiting, one disgusting hot tub and an ex WCW wrestler the sixe of a truck.
Like you said fotze, it took 5 yrs off my life and if I never see half those guys again I'm OK with that.

Oh yeah. Fireworks. What a bad idea that was. That was how we met the WCW guy.....
"I think mines a dud"
POOF!!! (firework shoots down Neilson beach into a random houseboat that turns out to be full of 10 girls and one human the size of 3 of us mere mortals). Luckily he thought it was funny, and we ended up partying on their boat all night.
I saw another boat throw about 6 roman candles into their fire, resulting in a mass beach sprint into the rope tie downs at 3AM. That was funny because it wasn't me getting closelined..

I go every spring, this year I made sure I had my quick release g-string to go with my cowboy hat of course and the patato gun is usually a lot of fun until your buddy doesn't think it's working and lights his grill on fire, it was funny. I think it's cool that you have costumes, that is a great idea for next year. What about the blow-up doll for the top of the boat?

we've done that, but with helium, we couldn't stop laughing..........
the "air head" was attached to the "pocket fisherman". Best ice breaker ever girls came from everywhere.... even better when the first guy passes out, the positions we put him in and a digital camera was hours of fun...
