It was in the Sun today. Cop investigates vandalism, gets shot at, shoots back, wounds kid.

I'm sure we will be told soon how the cop should have taken a bullet before shooting the kid, just in case there were other options.

hmmmm, anyone else find it odd the boy wasn't charged with vandalism? I mean why else would he shoot at the officer if he didn't do it?

That's the whole reason he was there was to investigate the vandalism. While not nearly as serious as the other charges, why drop it?

It is stupidly difficult to prove vanalism. Simply being there isnt enough to convict him, so why waste the time on a charge?

Besides, a $50 fine is the least of this kid's problems now.

Garuntee you the kid has either done some big shinguard that he hasn't been caught for yet and tripped out or was just plain mental, but I'm thinking the first one.
