I am going to tonight's game. Sitting in row 19 behind home plate to the 3rd base side. Looking forward to it, may have to heckle the Rays like the guy used to at Tropicana Field to opposing teams.

Big series for the home club - have to get game 1 in a favourable pitching matchup.

It would really send a mesage if the Jays could take 3 of the next 4, or all 4 against the Rays and Yankees, especially after a mediocore road trip.

Why the hell is Lind back in clean up? I cannot wait for the day Adam Lind is no longer a Jay.

I can't watch this one, but I see that the Rays have 6 runs, but Morrow only has 1 ER and Perez has none.

Any glaring errors on the field?

I think Lind had an error that should have been the 3rd out negating the ER on the other runs for Morrow.

The error was bad but the pitches that came after were Morrows fault.

Yup. Two outs in the 5th with one run in, and a ball off Lind's glove allows Joyce to beat the throw at first. Morrow argues the call with his back to home-plate while Zobrist runs home from second, uncontested. And then one batter later, he strikes out Pena, but puts the third strike in the dirt, Arencibia can't cover, Pena reaches base, and the Rays get another three runs in the inning after that.

Was at my first game of the year tonight and boy was it a snooze. I left early because of it. Forget that the Jays lost, but there weren't any balls hit to LF where we were . Not an interesting game to watch overall as the pitchers really took their time setting up.

I have the following observation after watching the game tonight. Adam Lind sucks.

The Jays never beat the Rays.

It's almost like the Flames vs Ducks

I forgot how boring it is watching games where your team gets 3-6 scattered hits. Been spoiled for offence with the Jays in recent years, they continue to be quiet this year other than Edwins one hot streak.
