lanny Why not to wear Red Sox Gear in Yankee Stadium

Quote:
BC reader D.G. sent an email tonight concerning video he shot Friday night at Yankee Stadium where the Bombers were facing Detroit. D.G. reports that Red Sox fan and her friend decided to take on their enemies. Wrong move. “Needless to say, they were being badgered the whole game, when finally, the girl who gets KO’d said enough is enough and tried to take on everyone in section 328. She lost.”
Quote:
Premise of Video: As you’ll see, it seems everyone was drinking. David says this is Section 328, which means this isn’t the heavy rollers, yet these broads can easily drop some cash on draft beers. Ever see a kick to the face in a baseball fan fight? Now you have.

Climax of Video: Um, easily 400,000 pageviews by Monday night. Wait until this one gets passed around to Yankees fans around the world.

Conclusion: David reports that Red Sox Chick comes back for more. As you’ll see below, that doesn’t go too well, either

I think it's more of a don't wear Red Sox gear and be an idiot, especially to a game against the Tigers. I've worn a Sox hat to Yankee Stadium before and never gotten more than a 'Red Sox suck' from someone who was walking by.

I was wearing a Jays Jersey and hat into old Yankee Stadium to see the last Jays game played there ever. The Jays won that game and I never had a problem. Even had some Yankees fans say that it was a good game (Doc vs. Pettitte)
But wearing Boston gear or not if you are being a twat and antagonizing everyone which it clearly looks like in that video throwing the bird and chirping and then GOING TO YANKEE FAN TO FIGHT??? Be smart stay in your seat and watch the game.

######baggery is the in thing these days. It's disgusting. Everyone in that video needs a good ass kicking. Maybe it will escalate and they will kill each other off.

It is my opinion that, in the majority of situations, the onus is on the visiting team fan to avoid confrontations like this. I am a Red Sox fan, but I have no sympathy for these dumb girls. I doubt anything that happened before this incident was recorded would change my mind.

From what I can tell, the Sox fan got kicked in the face, by another woman, for starting a fight. The male yankees fan was very restrained and didn't hit the woman back even after he was attacked.

You'd think the Sox fan would have learned from Vader's mistake in Episode 3- never attack someone if they have the high ground!

1:23 looks like hot drink. It also looks a bit cold at the game too.

If you can take the insults in jest you'll do fine. I had my Rangers gear on at Fenway for a three game set. Not even remotely close to a problem.

Yes people chirped me, but I'd laugh or give a good light-hearted comment back

Random bleacher fan to my buddy taking my picture in front of the scoreboard: Dude don't take his picture he's a stinkin' Rangers fan

Me: I'm his ride

Random Fan: Oh dude that sucks, make sure the picture's blurry

Me: hahahahahaha

I had one girl start to scold me on how the Angels were gonna come back and win the division (funny in retrospect as it was the start of the Sox collapse) and I just said "I KNOW! Have you seen how easy their schedule is? We play you guys again the Yankees twice and Rays twice while they beat up on Kansas City and Oakland, how the hell is that fair?!" She gave me a look and said "you, I like you, you're cool".

Be respectful and take the taunts in jest and you'll be fine.
