Renting a 8 seater SUV in Calgary

I needed an 8 seater SUV and the only options are the Hertz's Suburban and the Budget's Yukon. But none of them guarantees that I'll get either even if I reserve them. Do you know who else in town rent and guarantee a 8 seater vehicle? Thanks.

I have also seen some GMC Acadias around with rental plates- I don't recall the company though. The Acadia comes standard as an 8 seater; however 7 seats is an option- so I can't say which those would have had.

The last time I rented an SUV from Budget downtown they gave me a choice between a black and white Ford Fiesta.

Have you called the actual location to speak to somebody? I know with car reservations there is also no deposit so no incentive to cancel or even show up for a "reservation."

They might be willing to set aside a certain vehicle if you are willing to pre-pay for the rental.

Maybe try Shaw GMC rentals? http://www.shawgmc.com/section/secon...tal-inventory/ they have SUVs and in my experience what you book is what you get.

Have you tried National? I know the one down here in Lethbridge has Yukons and Expeditions. They will also hold one for you when you reserve it, not like Enterprise: "Heres your full size SUV sir"
Me: "Thats a ford Edge, you told me you had a Durango and a Yukon when I booked last week, this thing isn't even 4 wheel drive."
E: "Its all whell drive"
Me: "Proove it, it is not"
E:"uhhhhh....uhmmmmmm... well do you need 4x4 what are you using it for"
Me: "I'm going to call around and find what I need."
