Default Conference/Meeting Room Suggestions?

I have been assigned the task of locating a conference room to rent for May 18-20 (long weekend) and am just wondering if anybody has any suggestions.

It needs to be professional in appearance and somewhat central would be a bonus - if not, tending to the south side would be better. Although subject to change, I think the capacity would need to be around 50 and there is no requirement for food and/or drinks.

If anybody has experience with one I would appreciate the heads up or it is pretty much call random hotels and hope for the best.

Thanks

I know the new U of C building downtown on 8th and 8th can rent out rooms. Our office has done it a number of times for offsite team building events.

Coast Plaza (16th Ave)
Carriage House Inn (MacLeod)

Both are a good choice at fairly reasonable rates.

Hotel arts is good. If it's for a non-profit, the kahanoff center has nice facilities.

The downtown UofC campus is pretty good and is easy to get to.
