Default attempted abduction in S.W.

Police are searching for a man who apparently tried to abduct a young girl in Calgary's southwest on Tuesday night.
Two girls, aged nine and 10, were walking in the 3400 block of 28th Avenue S.W. around 6 p.m. when police say a man got out of his vehicle and grabbed the 9-year-old from behind — lifting her off the ground.

thought I'd post this being a parent and living in the SW.

Heard this on the radio yesterday. They said it was a beige or gold colored 4 door sedan with an X in the plate number. You'd think they could seriously narrow down the list with that information.

The suspect is described as white, in his 20s, standing about six feet tall. He has a slender build with shorter brown hair and brown eyes.He was wearing a red T-Shirt with a small Calgary Flames logo on the upper chest, beige pants and black shoes.
Ugh

honestly, i hate police descriptions:
"The suspect is described as white, in his 20s, standing about six feet tall. He has a slender build with shorter brown hair and brown eyes."

Okay, now....task for you at home. Go downtown. See how many people you can find fitting these physical characteristics. LIke honestly, is this supposed to decrease the chances of this happening again or even significantly help determine the guy?why don't police just say an incident happened, call police if anything like this happens again and descriptions will be cross-referenced with those on file to determine if this guy is a serial perp/perv?

You would need more than hydrogen peroxide and dog puke to piece together the pieces of that guy if I caught him dong that to my kid.

There would be all sorts of Reservoir Dogs/Pulp Fiction ####e going on.

I think they are going by the description given to them by the two 9 and 10 year old girls. Plus with the description of the car its not too bad. Hope they find the filth.

Yeah, well they usually give those shirts away with a case of beer, so I wouldnt worry about it too much.

I always get a kick out of these. At least you get some points for creativity.

Honestly,

These people cannot hold themselves back. They have an near uncontrollable urge to rape children. When they see other pedophiles getting 6 months in jail they probably think "yeah id trade that 6 months for this rape". Time to bring back the death penalty IMO

I think Shane Doan is busy, besides, he probably has better things to do anyways.

Teach your kids to do the exact opposite of what a kidnapper wants.

"Be quiet" - Start Screaming

"sit still" - flop around and make noise

Jump out of a car at a light.

Be as difficult as you can.

Oh yes. I can also see them diligently restricting this behaviour exclusively to kidnappings. It must happen weekly.

Why do all composite sketches look like a face you wouldn't want to see in your window at night?
