I'm not selling my pack, but I might suggest bringing something a little smaller. I have a 65 L and it gets to be super annoying to cart around a big pack for a long time.

It really depends on if you want to bring a ton of clothes and have room to buy a bunch of stuff. Just trust me, that you'll get super annoyed by packing/unpacking and lugging around a huge pack over a couple months. The more stuff you bring, the more stuff you'll vomit around your hotel or hostel room.

I would probably even suggest trying to fit everything into a 50-60L and also buy a decent day pack.

MEC has good travel bags but as others have said, go light and plan to wash clothes more often.

Best think I recommend people do is load up a bag with everything you think you want to take and then take transit downtown. Walk from one end of downtown to the other, and then walk back and take the bus back home. Now repack with less stuff as you'll probably find you had too much and it got uncomfortable to carry. You will be carrying your bag some distances in Europe and you will have to schlep it up and down flights of stairs in metro stations and through airports. The less you take the better.

Also visit onebag.com, they have good advice.

Rick Steves also has good bags and good advice: ricksteves.com. I have this bag: http://travelstore.ricksteves.com/ca...entId=8&id=139 and while I haven't backpacked with it I've been on a few trips with it and it works well. It also seems to be on sale.

Also take clothes you don't care about keeping. You can toss and replace with ones you buy...and Europe has everything we have here and more. Don't just take something because you think you'll need it once or twice. If it turns out you do, you can always buy it there.

If you haven't yet you should go get a waterproof cover that fits over your bag to keep it dry in the rain. Especially for Europe
