Not the one...

I'm rooting for Cecil - I wasn't particularly enthused about having him in the opening day rotation, but I think he can be a solid contributor.
He's 24 with 400 MLB innings with a 1.4 WHIP in the league's toughest division. He's not a write-off or filler, he's a guy that has the experience in the league and knows that his window is closing - a legitimate breakout candidate.
(To be clear, by breakout I mean a guy that could prove he's good enough to have a long career in the Show, not an ace or a Cy Young guy)

I love Sal Fasano in AA and how he goes about his job. Sounds like he helped a ton with Cecil down there.
Hutchison won't need surgery, but no throwing for 4-6 weeks. Good news though

I like Cecil as well. I think he will be a regular MLB starter, 3-4. He's got time.

So turns out Bautista is still one of the best bats in all of the Majors.
Rajai Davis is going to have some serious trade value if he keeps this up.
Lawrie went 3 for 5 tonight with a walk. Very encouraging signs

Well it took some time, but Batista is now tied for the major league lead in home runs and is 2nd in the AL with 55 RBI. He's also got his OPS up over 900 after playing the first month below 700. With Lawrie and Rasmus setting the tablevand Encarnacion behind him, he's been on a prolonged run here.

Joey Bats was sooooo slow to get out of the gate it's nice to see him heat up again.
Too bad the team has had such bad luck with the pitchers this season, they could be in great shape if they had some luck.

If they can keep the race close in the AL East while their starters are beat up they could make a run at a wildcard spot at the end of the year. It's going to be a grind though with so many starters out

I doubt there is any chance, Jays have 1 legit starter (for another 8 weeks or so).
Hopefully Cecil and Alvarez can be consistent
As for 4th and 5th, they are going to lose quite a few.

Big concern about Cecil in his first two starts is lack of swinging strikes.

Only a matter of time before the Marlins caught up to Cecil's pitches
