There's a good column in today's Herald that bemoans the fact that they were able to settle their differences in *ONE* bloody meeting. Hell it took em 6 months before Goodenow stopped dropping yo momma jokes and they really made progress. For sure, for the NBA it was a matter of fine tuning principals that were already in place but it sounds like their union was far less militant and confrontational.

Hockey fans have a right to be steamed.... So much for the NHL's Plan A for restoring the visibility of hockey in the US.
