Sandlewood furniture, it's down by Ikea off deerfoot. It has access to all the same suppliers that all the higher end shops do (like MacArthurs etc) but their prices are significantly cheaper.

Ambers in the NE (accross from Costco) has some of the most annoying salesman I've ever encountered in my life, but their furniture is very good.

Restoration hardware's quality is garbage. It's all about looks without substance.

We are big fans of the Consignment Gallery, just off of Blackfoot and 58th.
Really good stuff, and really crappy stuff, all for good prices.

My wife spent several thousand on a couch for our living room at crIcklewood - it is on centre street near glenmore.
I'd assume they sell other expensive stuff as well.
There is a restoration hardware in south centre

Cricklewood is really good.
I also quite like Crate and Barrel.

Big fan of Bracko Brothers. That's where I bought my dining set from, and it's been superb thus far. They had a lot higher end than what I bought as well, including some hand-made stuff from BC.

I am trying to remember but there is a Hutterite made furniture store. I cant say if the look would be top end (never been there) but I bet it wouldnt be lacking in construction quality.
