That's what I'm talking about! Stafford drew in on the top line, since Semin had been getting tired, and potted a pair.

Wasn't as lopsided as I expected, but I'll take the 4-1 victory over the poor, poor capitals.

Great time to hit a losing skid. Great time indeed.

Just held on. Gave up 32 shots and blocked 13 as Myers and Moore led the way with 4 and 3 SB's respectively. After being benched for a while Hendricks came back as a windger and had an assist and was a +1 (Jones had the night off). Vrbata potted the 3rd of 3 straight goals in the second that proved to be the eventual winner.

Horrific game!!! I am not concerned about the results in this one...We lost our best player for a month and that will likely take us out of contention. Datsyuk will be out for the rest of the regular season for sure and maybe a round or two of the playoffs as well if we make it. This team is in trouble!

IR List now includes: Datsyuk, Kane, Pahlsson, Eberle

An easy victory for the Jackets as the Jets couldn't handle the top line. Since Vanek-Richards-Nash have formed a line they have been amazing. We are not missing Loui Eriksson at all, he was useless. Chris Stewart got beat up but that's OK. He took one for the team which is more than that bum Loui Eriksson ever did.

At 60OV Criag Rivet has proven to be one of the better dmen in the entire CPHL...(yes I said it). He has been a rock and is now 7th in league +/- with a +26 rating.

The Capitals beat all the top teams and lose to nobodies like the Stars.

I think I'm going blind! I swear I read through and didn't think I had a game. I was just looking to see how other teams did, but there it is first on the list! Shawn Horcoff was on fire for us and picked up the hat trick as the Preds scored four third period goals and won 5-4. All of a sudden our powerplay came alive and we went 3/4 with the man advantage. Pretty sweet win!

Yikes. Chara hurt, thankfully only day to day.

After a disastrous performance agains the Oilers, Sabres bounce back with a victory over the Pens, Giguere's 2nd straight win for himself, and he continues he strong shootout play where he's stopped all 6 shots in the SO this season. Linus Omark continues his solid play, having scored a point in all 3 games since being called up. Sabres remain banged up and still aways out of the playoff spot- some of the teams ahead of them are slumping, but Sabres do have a brutal schedule still to play
