Awesome that we got the win in the back-to-back. The injuries are just piling up for us now though as we lose Kim Johnsson for few days. The win keeps us in 7th heading down the stretch and hopefully we can get some guys back to finish off the drive.

Flames score 3 goals in 23 seconds to eek out a win over Dallas 5-3.
Ugly ducklings tomorrow in a BIG game.

The Jackets new look defense manages to get the job done by helping Miller record a big shutout and this is the very first shutout by the Jackets this year. The 4th line was the difference as Lombardi came late in the 3rd which ended up being the winning goal. The Jackets also limited the Canucks to only 14 shots but it wuld have been nice to get more offense. A Jackets win and a Stars loss gives us some breathing room on 4th place in the West.

Brian Boyle won 12 out of 13 face offs. Thats gotta be some kind of record.

The Blues have been a tough team to beat.

a much needed win against a depleted Phoenix lineup after back to back losses.

I forgot I was playing back to back though... started Vokoun when I should have played him against the Isles.

Oh well!

Habs nearly came back in the end, but dropped a close decision in our fourth game in five days. We've been injuring a lot of opponents lately. Difference was goaltending in this one. Harding didn't play badly, but Kipper engaged God mode for this one. Tootoo took a penalty in his six minutes of icetime, so he has managed to hurt the team in all three games he has played for us thus far. Powerplay went 0 for 6 in four games this week, while the PK allowed 3 goals on 16 attempts. Not sure what it takes to get the refs on your side, but we certainly haven't been doing it.

well possibly the final straw for the Sabres for a few reasons, in a close loss to a strong Sens team. Despite having some games in hand, the gap is getting wider on a playoff spot and we still have some tough stretches including 5 games in 5 nights coming up so I don't see us gaining much ground. In addition we lose Lupul to injury today; after losing Steen last game two of our top 3 scorers are on the shelf. wouldnt' be wise to overpay to replace them, so look to Sabres to reassess and look to move some of their older bodies in the coming days

The CPHL leading scorers, Eric Staal and David Krejci with a goal and assist each to lead the Sens over the Sabres.
