My house has turned into a bloody urban farm in the past two years as my wife and I now have 4 pets. This includes 2 dogs and 2cats (plus a fish which I don't count). Two of them are rescue animals, and the other two came from registered breeders. One of our cats is one that my wife has had for like 8 years now, she rescued him from a neglected home in Prince Rupert, he's now a big fat mean 17 pound Orange Tabby. The other is a Himylayen about a year and a half that is like 8 pounds and scared of anything. The dogs are a 2 year old Samoyed and a rescued Keeshond crosssed with something puppy around 11 weeks old. We're still having a tough time house training the puppy, and we need to vacuum daily because of the hair. Thankfully we have leather furniture, and mostly hard surfaced floor in our house. I'm a bit of a sucker for pets I'll admit, but right now I'm saying no more pets as 4 seems to be more than enough!

2 cats, a dog.
Barnaby, a very cool rescue cat the wife got before I met her. He's just over 6.
Not like any other cat..playful, wants attention and to be in the centre of eveything. Not scred of new people or visitors, always willing to put on a show.
Summer, a 5 year old rescue cat that I bought the wife for a 1 year anniversary present. Typical cat. Prefer to be on her own, only looks for attention when she wants something, scared of visitors and will run and hide.
Gelli (name after Mr. Gelinas), now 10 months old yellow lab cross. Rescue puppy. Still very hyper and although very friendly to new people and dogs etc, very excited. She's crate trained fantastically, which is very nice, since we had a condo before recently moving to a house. Since the house has the old style hardwood, much more condusive to all the hair that she sheds too.
No more pets...3 is enough. 1 dog is a handfull, and although nice that the cats are lower maitenence, 2 is enough of those.
Barnaby has gotten used to the dog, but Summer is still petrified of her. I can't believe hey'll ever play around together at this rate.
Pics to follow.

Two cats. Both came from the Winnipeg Humaine Society. The neighbour's cat is also kind of our outdoor cat since we feed him cause it looks like they dont.

1 cat I got from "Street Cats" 4 years ago - Mandy. Very small cat that had a rough life on the streets before she was rescued by the agency. Took her about a year before she got used to me but she's the perfect cat now. She's never scratched me, doesn't beg for food (I can put my dinner down on the floor and she won't touch it), and has no desire to go outside. Only problem is she scratches everything but whatever. Oh yeah - she drools too.

We have 2 cats and 1 little dog. our part siamease(sp?) cat we got from a farm and ever since my big dog passed away in december, it walks around like it owns the place. When we had my big dog, the cat just laid around scared to go near the dog. It was like this for 7 years, but now hes having the time of his life. Our other cat, some lady just put in my arms when i was about 8 playing at the park. She said give this cat a home and then drove off my sister and i were just like wtf and brought her home. We fed her and were gonna take her to the vet for them to find a home for her but we fell in love with the cat and kept her. She was skin and bones when we got her and now shes freaking huge 9-10 years later lol.
The little dog we have is my sisters and she loves it alot. I dont mind her but the dog will never live up to my other dog.

I have one rabbit whose name is Rufus.
He hates it when we force him to pose for greeting card pictures like this Christmas one.

I currently have 2 cats. The most I've ever had is 2 cats and a dog.
My cousin's house is by far the biggest "urban farm" I've ever seen. At one time they've had 3 dogs, 3 cats, an iguana, a chinchilla (sp?), and two birds. I'm waiting for the day when they open their doors to the public and become a zoo.

Yeah my wifes cousins have 2 cats, one dog, 3 llamas and 2 el paca's on their 5 acre piece of land in Langley. To top it off I think they've bought every piece of scrap junk available in the lower mainland of B.C. I've never seen 5 acres of property so cluttered with junk. The poor animals have no room left to roam.
