Default Chance of a white Christmas where you live

Kind of cool.

Environment Canada calculates the chance of a white Christmas in cities across Canada.

Your tax dollar hard at work.

Heh, I was going to guess that Calgary was about 50/50. Right on the nose.

Surprised it's that low, I seem to remember at least 2 as a child.

I knew it wouldn't be high, but hmmm...

I honestly can't recall one and I've been around for roughly 40 of them.

Gee, it snowed here last night despite it being above freezing, I'd say our chances this year are about 59% considering.

Not good like usual, almost always rain or at least no snow around Christmas here.

Zero chance of snow here in Phoenix. Anyway, if I really miss the snow, I can drive 2 hours north of here to Flagstaff. I hear they got about 8 or 10 inches of snow recently. But really, I don't miss snow at all.

^ Zero chance of snow here too. I don't miss snow at all except at this time of year. And even then, it's the thought of it that is more appealing than the actual experience.

It's looking like a brown christmas here in Halifax this year.

Not much of a chance in the GTA this year. It's barely even been below zero - I think it was +8C yesterday. There is probably a better chance of having to cut the lawn.

It's a far cry from where I mostly grew up. (One of the 4 places with a 100% chance).

I am listed at 86% but there is at least 40-50 cm of snow on the ground and it isn't forecast to be warm next week. I am pretty sure I will get a white Christmas.

The Weather Network is calling for "snowsqualls" in Orono Saturday. Just in time for me to return home

93-80? I'll take those odds!

This is why planning a ski vacation over the holidays is the best.

100%

It's not Christmas without snow.

Last place...big shocker.

The stats are for the airport too, which gets almost double the snow that the city does. I'd imagine the "white Christmas" stats for Victoria proper would be under 5%. I can personally remember only one.
