Default Good place for inspection after car accident?

So some trophy wife rear-ended me last night at an intersection. I don't know if she was confused or intoxicated, but driving, and especially braking, didn't seem like her forte.

Anyone know of a good place to take the car for an inspection to check for damage? I don't see too much on the surface beyond the bumper, but it would be nice to have someone who knows what their doing in case there is some frame damage or something. Ideally in the SW and/or Mazda specialist.

Also got a taste of those world-famous health care waiting times. 7 hours to see a doctor at Sheldon Chumir....yayy.

So there was no visable damage done to the car, but you were injured and had to go to the hospital? Anyways, very unlikey there is any frame realignment to be done if there is no damage.

Yeah, I seem to have re-aggravated a neck/shoulder injury from about 7-8 years ago when I was in a significant car accident. I doubt it's too serious, but I was told see a doctor just in case.

That's what I assume as well, but I'd rather be safe than sorry.

Take it to a body shop. They'll look at the bumper, see if the foam/beam was damaged as well and go from there.

If you don't have a preferred bodyshop, or don't need to go specifically to Mazda- I can't recommend "Screamin' Paintworks" in NE Calgary enough. The best auto shop I've been to (had cosmetics done at 3 different shops and it's really no comparison). Very straight with you, and very very good work! I'd recommend them over any bodyshop, your brand name car dealer included.

PM me if you want to go in there, I'm not sure if they will help you out extra due to a referral, but it might be worth a try.

Sorry to hear you got smashed up. Silly trophy wives!

Especially since there's a potential injury involved, you should call your insurance company right away. They'll usually recommend a place to have your vehicle inspected.

Generally you were hear people talk about Screaming Paintworks, Maranello's, Concours Collision, A-1, Crowfoot Image, Hallmark.

But I'm sure you can find someone who has a horror story from any shop in the city.
