Where to X-Country Ski in Banff? (Need rentals)

So my girlfriend and I are looking at doing a trip to Banff and maybe do some X-Country skiing. We are very much beginners at this so no difficult trails but I have gone a handful of times. Are there any recommended places to go? We also have a small car so transporting skiis will be a problem, and perhaps need a ski rental place on site.

Try the Nordic Centre in Canmore. They have groomed trails for a variety of experience levels and have equipment rentals.

Ribbon Creek in Kananaskis has easy trails, but no on-site rentals.
