It seems like you can not go to a webpage these days without seeing a "best of 2011" list. Figure that with this year almost done, we could start some Awards of our own. Feel free to agree, Disagree or add on....

I am much more curious to see who wins the CP nerd of the year award. Less than 3 days away

Wannamaker I think might be best suited to the title of "Jihad Of The Year" with an immediate formal induction into the CP Hall Of Fame. "Most Epic Thread" I think is clearly the Funny Pictures thread.
The Occupy thread one might argue could be called "Civic Politics Thread Of The Year."

I don't know, I think I'd have to go with the many incarnations of the crazed Jets fan known by many aliases such as CokeMachineGlow, TheOnlyWhiteOut, TheU, and currently going by the name of Notorious Honey Badger (allegedly, of course).

More than that, those were only the ones I could remember off the top of my head. He kept getting banned every time it became obvious who he was.
