FS: Kittens - FREE
Let the thread die because people don't seem to know what buy and sell means.
I couldnt care less about what a bunch of strangers on the internet think of me, I dont need your useless opinions.
Not trying to make myself look good here, but my sister wanted a cat for her birthday, so she got one. However her interest in it slowly faded away, and she has NEVER fed it or cleaned its litter once after a year. Yes, she is stupid. Feeling sorry for it, i started to play and take care of it. I needed to work a lot to help pay for my tuition fees along with helping my parents, but I had enough money to also buy food for my cat.
Unfortunately we couldnt stop her from getting pregnant when she was in heat one night in the summer. She had babies this early November, and yes i'm the only one who cares about them. My dad is annoyed that taking care of these kittens takes too much time out my studying and working schedule and has even threatened to kill them.
There, i'm trying my best to find a home for these guys cause i'm the only one in this house who gives a duck about them.
Call me an irresponsible pet owner or whatever, but really I'm trying my best for these guys and what you think means nothing.

I don't own a snake, and was not trying to be funny. I am curious how Rathji and snakes are related though, please enlighten me.
If you read the link, you would find out why giving away kittens might not be the best idea, if you actually care about the kittens - which it appears you do.
However, I think that by saying this, I am probably in violation of the Buy and Sell forum rules about commenting on price, and might end up with a warning for it. I considered it as rather important advice, so I did it anyway, but feel free to carry on and ignore me.

I'm not sure if I would want the offspring of a feline whore....
If you were such an animal lover concerned about the well being of your kittens, you wouldn't have let your "precious" get knocked up.
Do me a favour and charge $50 for the kittens and use the proceeds to get your cat fixed.

Do you know anything about cats? Seriously if you're not interested you didnt even have to comment.
Since you like acting like a smarta$$ i'll be one too. Cats have something called 'heat' where they have to find a partner in order to make babies no matter what. As i said, we're in trouble financially and couldnt pay to get her spayed.
This is a buy and sell forum, if you have no intention of buying then kindly shut your mouth that has 0 knowledge coming out of it.

My mistake, but right you are.
This forum is for market, not for opinions. I dont need anyone telling me what they think I should do.
Second mistake was trying to give them away on an internet forum full of argument whores.
I'll stick to kijiji or hopefully letting a pet store take them in. Hopefully this thread gets buried.

I'm sorry but no matter how you shake it, letting out a cat with his/her goods intact is irresponsible. What did you think was going to happen?
Ugh, it will be 2012 tomorrow and people are still making the same vital mistakes.
I hope they get a great home. I'd take one but 2 is enough for me.

If you own one, you'd understand. When cats are in heat they do everything in their power to get outside of the house, and unless you want to get 3 huge scars on your face you do not want to try to get them back in. I actually still have a scar on my right arm from when she scratched me when I tried to get her back, from 6 months ago.
But yeah read my above post, I didn't come here for other people's opinions.

The posts in this thread are against the buy/sell rules I guess, but I think in this case the message against irresponsible pet ownership outweighs that, at least in my view.

You should charge a small amount (like $20 or something) just to make sure that you are actually getting someone who really wants a cat and not just someone who is taking one on a whim because they are free.

So you think trying to find loving caring home's for them after the fact is irresponsible pet ownership ???
Sure the cat should've been fixed but what the OP is trying to do is far better then dropping them into a sack with some rocks and chucking them into the Bow River.

Sometimes paying for a cat to get spayed once is cheaper than trying to keep all her kittens from all her litters healthy and trying to find homes for them.

Nothing irks me more than terribly irresponsible pet owners and people playing the "financially unable to neuter/spay my pet" card. If you can afford all the costs, ( dollars and time) don't get a pet. End of story.
