Ugh, what a painful game to watch. I like the Blue Jays, but the Mariners come before them in my mind. I live in Portland, so it's almost a local team to me and really the only one around here I have any interest in (JailBlazers? Heh, no thanks.

)
I decided to watch the game as a break for this large program I'm writing that has been frustrating at best, only to see Franklin throw nothing but beachballs. Argh. Oh well. At least the Jays have a chance to make the playoffs. The Mariners ain't going anywhere this year. If they would ever start hitting, though, they'd at least be entertaining. I stopped watching the game after the fifth.
I must agree that Gaudin looked very sharp. I kept thinking during the game that I wish the Mariners had a pitcher that had anything close to his stuff. He could be a good pitcher for the Jays if he can keep this up.
This game is all but lost for me. Rubber match tomorrow! 7pm.
9-2 Jays now after 7.
