Woman has 15 children gets thousands from the State and declares "Someone's got to pay, someone needs to be accountable"

Somebody needs to pay? Somebody needs birth control. Immediately.

Being able to have children is a privilege, not a right. Yipes.

And honestly, I'm not sure I'd want someone with 12 kids living in something I owned, too.

I'm having difficulty getting passed the fact the reporter has the same name as my brother.

Aside from that, she cries that someone has to pay for her kids, then when they do she complains about it. Seriously?!

I mean what's her thought process? "I have no money, and no support, I know I'll have another baby!" Then when in court and the judge asks her if she's pregnant she refuses to answer? Even when told that not answering would lead to a contempt of court charge and jail time?

How has the state not done a psychiatric evaluation yet?

A little off topic but it is interesting how people's expectation is so different than the reality. Here's another example of a mother who expected more from government from way back in '09.

http://www.nytimes.com/2009/09/15/op...5pedreira.html

Some nuggets:

"I was robbed first by Ben Bernanke, the Federal Reserve chairman, and Henry Paulson, the former Treasury secretary...and later by the bankruptcy judge"

"...did I deserve to be robbed because of the mistakes of others?"

Interestingly, she doesn't blame the reckless behavior in which her employer behaved nor does she blame the CEO, Dick Fuld, just the "government" folk it seems would have, should have saved her job at Lehman.

So yeah, it is a sad state of affairs when all segments of society think they "deserve" or earned something from their government no less.

At least the Duggers aren't on an entitlement program.

Some segments of society definitely promote having children as a way of making money. I've heard it with my own ears many times.

I know the jokes will abound in this thread, but I really feel for those kids.

She can't take care of them, they are already taking two youngest away. They won't get to grow up with their brothers and sisters, yet how would you keep all of them in one family given the circumstances. Pretty sad all round if you ask me.

Isn't it beneficial in the US tax wise if you have more kids?

You don't pay taxes when you have no income.

You do get higher welfare payments with more kids. It's a stupid system that promotes sloth and child birth to get paid.

....just turrible.

This is what feminism has brought us.

The state replaces the father figure with divorce court/tax money, and women expect to be bailed out for their poor decisions.

I am really, really surprised that CPS has not taken the majority, if not all of those kids.

That is quite the incentive there. In WA state, it is a whole $100 extra/month per dependent beyond the $453 grant for a family of 2.

This example is an outlier of course, so you are looking at a whole $1953/mo for a family of 17 in WA state for the "welfare" portion.

And of course, you can get a tax deduction when you have kids to the tune of $3800 per dependent in 2012.

Why does anyone need 15 children when they don't have the financial means to do so?

I feel sorry for the state of the human race sometimes.

No one needs 15 kids, but 'he' (or more likely 'them') don't like nor want to pay for condoms and getting her tubes tied is expensive she lives in the south where abortion is frowned on by the state and so is difficult to get if you are poor and none of them have the brains the good lord gave my dog so, voila!

This is a perfect arguement for open access to abortion but for whatever reason the right wing down there never sees it.

The Flames recent terribleness is directly attributable to how awesomely skilled all the players are.

Feminism is more about these isn't it?

^^Nice.^^

Feminism is all about women "having it all" and living life without having to depend on a man in any way. Feminism sold women the idea that career was more fulfilling than being a "slave" house wife. It is anti-family in nature.

Hard-headed, career girl feminists with a masculine disposition have to resort to the types of devices you depicted there when they realize that at the end of the day men don't care about their accomplishments as much as their feminine virtues.

Feminst lobbying has influenced government policy over the decades to make this circumstance possible.

Que the "mysogynist" shaming tactics.
