I'm planning to go to the World Cup in 2006 in Germany. It does not look good that Canada will be there if we can't beat Guatamala at home.

Maybe we should do what the Mexicans do; they have all their home matches in Mexico City to take advantage of the high altitude. Canada should have all their games in Nunavit.

Well, they do play in Edmonton I think....and I think this round of qualifying goes into Oct/Nov, so there's our advantage.

It would be nice to see Canada in the world cup. Still our national team is by far a team to fear. I remember losing to the Aussie's back in 1994 taking Canada out of the World Cup qualifier. That hurt so much. I tend to cheer on the girls they're canada's only soccer hope for now.

Just get some jack*** with a bobcat to rip up the field throw a few loonies in the hole and we should be good.

They are lucky you know!!

Enjoy the memories of the girls successes of the past few years. In true Canadian fashion, a once dominant team has now been caught and bypassed by half a dozen countries.....to the extent that we didn't even qualify for the Olympics this year.

Just like every sport not named hockey in this country, we just don't have the financial commitment or willto maintain and build on any advantage that we ever have.
