I had the pleasure of seeing this film early, Wow this move makes you think and well worth the price of a ticket. I think every one should see this film.

"I think this is the kind of film that starts arguments and stimulates passionate discussion about topics that still make most of us cringe."
-- Richard Roeper, EBERT & ROEPER

A Brentwood housewife and her DA husband. A Persian store owner. Two police detectives who are also lovers. A black television director and his wife. A Mexican locksmith. Two car-jackers. A rookie cop. A middle-aged Korean couple... They all live in Los Angeles. And in the next 36 hours, they will all collide... A provocative, unflinching look at the complexities of racial conflict in America, "Crash" is that rare cinematic event – a film that challenges audiences to question their own prejudices.

Saw it Saturday night. One word. Amazing.

No one shines brighter than the other in the film, but they all come together to show a complete story of racisim. Sometime done in jest, as a lot of us are guilty of, and others to the utmost extreme, in the case of Matt Dillon's character. It's done with a pinch of comedy, a pinch of hard hitting drama, and a lot of art imitating life.

It's hard as a Canadian to know what happens in Los Angeles on a daily basis, but I could see everything in the film happening in our own back yard, with different circumstances.

I would recomend to anyone looking for a thought provoking film. It'd be great to start a discussion about the film here. I'd like to see what others thought.

Really, really enjoyed the film tonight. Best movie I've seen since "The Incredibles".

For those who haven't lived in LA, the opening narrative in the movie is important. LA really is unique in that it is a giant metropolis where most of the people do not live in a central downtown area. There aren't the crowded street scenes that you see in NYC or Chicago....or TOKYO. People don't come into contact with hundreds of other people each day on the sidewalks of LA.

Saw it as well, Amazing. Really makes you think about the prejudices in society.

I'm not one to cry at the movies, but I really teared up at the locksmith part with the persian man (I wont spoil it).

I'm not much for crying at movies either, but I was just gasping at that part and my eyes were welling up.

Wow, such a good movie. I was thinking about it for days after I saw it, and encouraging everyone to go see it so I could talk to them about it.

Seriously awesome movie.
