Default Jordan Henry

So I got to watch the Heat live last night in Oklahoma City. I was actually really impressed with Jordan Henry. He was hitting everything last night... and hitting it hard. He seemed to be a step ahead of the other Dmen last night. Is this normal or just a good night for Jordan?

He's not the best defender on the Heat night in and night out, or #1 on the depth chart, but he's still an important cog in the Heat machine. He probably should have at least a point by now, it'd be nice to snap that drought.

I thought he might make the Flames roster, he received quite a long look in training camp. One of the last defenders cut. Flames have had their eye on this guy for a long time. He was also invited to camp back in 2006 by Darryl after playing for Brent Sutter on the Red Deer Rebels the previous season.

He has an NHL frame and uses it, but I'd hesitate at this point to say he's any more special than someone like, say, Adam Pardy.
