Player - Chris Kunitz (NY Islanders)

The winger's numbers were very hard to beat through 30 games in the 2011-12 CPHL season.
Defensemen - Nicklas Lidstrom (Pittsburgh Penguins)

It was a hard decision to pick the top blueliner. Lidstrom went down to the wire with two others, but Swede's high minutes played, combined with offensive output, gave him just the slight edge to take the award.
Goalie - Tomas Vokoun (LA Kings)

Surreal numbers.
Rookie - Cory Schneider (Minnesota Wild)

It's not often a goalie wins this award, but his numbers are hard to ignore. A very impressive first 30 days for the Wild netminder of the future (or now?)
Unsung - Maxim Afinogenov (Detroit Red Wings)

A number of very good nominees. Max takes the award for having the lesser OV (61), but putting up some solid numbers for the Red Wings.
Thanks for all of the nominations! A number of very good players through the early stretch of the season.
