Assistant Project Manager - Ontario
The position would report directly to me....requirements as follows: (If interested drop me a PM with your qualifications) Would prefer the candidate to be close to K-W region, but not 100% necessary. This is a home office position.
Candidates will have a track record of successfully managing multiple parallel short-term projects while communicating project status and expectations both in and out of the organization. Attention to detail and follow-up is essential to the success of this role.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist with all aspects of the customer service experience, including assistance with energy management services, installation of site server hardware/software at customer facilities, and continual customer communication as part of demand response and other energy management projects
• Fully understand contractual and regulatory issues relating to the regional grid operator, our customers and other parties
• Supervise the work of construction, electrical permitting and other subcontractors
• Work with the field operations team to optimize metering configurations and identify additional energy management opportunities to best serve our customers
• Troubleshoot various components related to energy management including but not limited to networking devices, control and monitoring systems, automatic transfer switches and backup generators
• Other duties related to distributed generation, energy auditing and energy efficiency services as requested
• Represent a team who strives for operational excellence and first-class customer service
• Effective communication skills are critical and required

Required Qualifications/Skills/Education:
• BA/BS in engineering, C.E.T. in engineering, sciences, mathematics, computer science or other related fields
• Zero to five years experience, specifically relating to energy management, or other relevant experience
• A proven track record demonstrating the ability to work in a fast paced, forward moving environment with the ability to quickly learn new technology
• Outstanding communication skills with the proven ability to utilize these skills across groups within and outside the organization
• Strong problem-solving and organizational skills
• Broad understanding of business considerations associated with our installations
• Ability to apply creativity and objectivity while solving technical problems
• Ability to travel locally as needed
Desired Qualifications/Skills/Education:
• Computer and networking experience
• Electrical or other engineering, design or project contracting experience
• Certified Energy Manager certification is a benefit but not required
