I am not to sure what to make of this deal. I guess as long as he is clean then I am fine with it.

Meh, he's playing in the CFL, he can't afford to do drugs anymore.
That's cruel, but I don't ever feel bad about guys who make hudreds of thousands or millions of dollars and throw it away up their nose (or whatever). If he's clean and can play ball, good for him. If not, kick him to the curb.

reading what the guy had to say he really just sounds honored that a team would take a chance on him. A kid who might not have had the best surroundings growing up, then the college life, then millions of dollars in the NFL, it's easy to see how mistakes can happen. No excuses or anything but I can understand. Barker knows his stuff though so I can easily seeing this move payoff big time for the stamps.

I think I read somewhere he's been clean for 15 months, I think it'll pay off in the end.

Stamps needed a safety and with their all-canadian O-line they can use an import at the position.

he seems like a guy that regrets what he did in the past and now wants a chacne to show what he can do. Of course guys can say all the right things and still screw up but I'll give him a shot to do it and hope that he stays clean for his sake and to help the Stamps out.
